My technology: Cell phone (handphone, mobile phone)

-When was the technology Developed?

This technology was developed in 1947 by Bell Labs who worked at AT&T. Bell Labs spent more time to develope this technology during the 1960s. Later in 1983, the  cellphones have been available. Since cellphones were introduced in America, they spread rapidly through out the world.

-Where would you find this technology?

15 or 2o years ago, cell phones were very expensive and hard to find. Since  many  strong and rich companies discovered that selling cell phones will bring them a fortune, they have started to develope further and sold them to people. They usually sold them in their own shops and even these days. Shops like Nokia, Samsung, O2, etc.

-Do you personally own a device with this technology?

Almost everyone personally owns this gadget because it’s not that expensive and it is easy to find. I own one because I can easily call my parents and other people. Also there are a lot of features.

-What are the main uses for this technology?

-Are there other uses that you can think of?

Like I said before, this technology is mainly uses for calling people and socialize easier from every where by sending sms or calling. This technology also contains my features so we can have some fun when we don’t have anything to do. sometimes we can track people down because this technology has GPS system.

-Do you feel this technology will still be used in 10 years from now or be replaced with something better?

I feel this technology will still be replaced with something better because we are keep inventing and developing things in short time. Like what Mr. Hoover told us, we have invented 100s of things in one century.
